H.H is a very Humble and wise man. His words of wisdom were very educational about life. Sheikh Ahmad bin Mohammad bin Hasher Al Maktoum is a shooter from the United Arab Emirates, who won the first ever Olympic medal for his country. Al Maktoum, a member of the ruling family of Dubai, had been participating in hunting since childhood, but it was not until the age of 34 that he took up shooting as a sport. Earlier, he was the UAE national champion in squash. At the 2004 Summer Olympics he won the double trap event and finished fourth in the trap event. At the 2005 ISSF World Cup he won another gold medal in double trap. He competed at the 2008 Summer Olympics, but did not reach the final in trap. He subsequently began coaching young British shooter Peter Wilson, who would win the double trap event at the 2012 London Olympics.

Håkan Dahlby is Swedish and one of the best and most highly respected claytarget shooters in the Olympic diciplin Double Trap in the world, and has been so since 2003 when he won his first European Championship. In 2004 he won his second European Championship and was in the Olympic Final in Athens. In 2005 he won his first World Cup Final in Dubai.

Between 2006-2010 he won the most medals in the world in Double Trap, and was voted “Best shooter in the world” by ISSF.

In 2008 he attended his second Olympic Games in Beijing and missed the final by just one target. The same year he won his second World Cup Final in Minsk. In 2011 he qualified to his third Olympic Games in London 2012.

In 2012 he won his third European Championship and on August 2nd he won his first Olympic silver medal after shooting a brilliant 49/50 in the final!

He has always characterized as constantly breaking new ground and evolving shooting as a major sport. Quality has always been a hallmark of Håkans personality and that has created a strong personal brand in world of shooting sport.

Håkan is on the board of REN IDROTT (Clean Athletes of Sweden) and one of their 66 athlete ambassadors.
